I have an 07 TRD Sport, its a Canadian truck, and does not appear to have the mechanical LSD that I read all the TRD Sports have.
It will spin one rear wheel, in any situation, snow, ICE, dirt, pavement on a corner.

I though all of these Sport model TRDs had the LSD, maybe CDN trucks do not?

    Thanks

its also very possible that the mechanical lsd in your truck is completely worn out.

Also because its an lsd does not mean both tires will spin all the time.

It won't spin both wheels at any time, in any situation, so either the diff is non-functioning, or not there.
The truck is not particularly high mileage, I'd be surprised the LSD would fail completely. I can find basically no info on the LSD unit at all, or if it possible to buy one.

does the diff have an "lsd" sticket on the back of the pumpkin?

What happens if you jack up both rear tires, in park, parking break released and spin one. is there resistance at all?

Your truck most definitely has the LSD unless it was swapped out. My truck is an 08 and a BC truck. It has the sticker on the rear pumpkin stating LSD oil. If you jack up the truck and spin one tire, they both spin. My truck has 120km on it.

Jacked it up last night, the wheels spin in opposite directions..
I can't see a sticker as its covered in undercoating. But everything points to it NOT having an LSD. Kinda strange.

canadian trucks could of been slightly differently configured FYI. Though i would expect it to have the LSD rear diff.

OP its likely the clutch pack in the diff is donezo... it is a wear item.

After writing that last post, I went and cleaned the diff off and there it is, the LSD oil sticker. So it does have an LSD, but it has obviously failed.
So, I guess I need to decide if I will fix it.

Truck has 175k on it, KM's, not miles.

I guess the first thing I will do is change the oil, add friction modifier and see what happens.

if the clutch pack is to the point where no resistance is felt when turning the wheels by hand.... changing the oil and adding the LSD additive isnt going to do squat.

I am suprised it has completely failed. Really not sure what to do. I thought I had the LSD until the first time I tried to get out of my snowy driveway (which is a hill), and couldn't, even in 4x4, just spun the one side. I had to take my wife's Subaru wagon, which drove out with zero issues, that was annoying. I just the truck a bit over a month ago.
