    Hello All,

Bought a 08 Doublecab in June with 70000 miles. Carried some shingles in it a few months later and broke the stock leafs.

Ordered new heavy duty 4 leaf packs from General Spring in Kansas City and had them installed. New leaf packs lifted the rear probably 3 inches and introduced a low speed shudder in 1st gear and in 2nd gear between 15-20mph.

Shop put in 4 degree rear axle shims to remedy vibration but it is still there. I also didn't like the back end being so much higher than the front end.

Bought Bilstein 5100's for the front and had them installed set at the middle setting. This helped some, but the front is still 2 inches lower than the back. The shop recommended I not set the 5100's at the highest setting, as they felt it would take the 'ride' out of the ride and be too harsh.

I'm after two things now. I want to level the truck, and cure the vibration problem. Another shop recommends I put 2 inch spacers in the front. I'm not very keen on this. I don't go off road, only in town/highway.

I'm also wondering if I can remove a leaf from the 4 leaf pack and drop the back end a little closer to stock.

    Any thoughts/ideas appreciated!
