08 LT Build

What style front bumper you looking at going with?

 

Damn man this is an LT build done right!

 

Thanks! This is my first tacoma and prerunner style build up so I'm enjoying learning new things. Read a lot of your posts around here and everyones been very helpful

 

Thanks man, sadly Im still quite the noob myself in this area of TW. The folks here though are some of the most knowledgeable compared to most of the other sections. Will you have to alter the front at all in order to get the wheels to achieve full tuck with the DTF front? It looked like bumps and stuff have to be relocated right?

 

Yeah so from my understanding at least I'll lose about 4 in of up using the stock bumps but its doable with them in the meantime. Eventually I'll move to kings bumps and everything and right now its coming with the coils but hope to add bypasses eventually. Hoping to start learning to do more of the cutting and welding myself but working 55 hours a week and Guam has pretty bad hours to accommodate lol

 

Sounds like a solid plan. So are you getting this kit used or does it already come with everything?

 

Getting it new from DTF, comes with everything

 

Make sure you get a video of your truck tearing up the the Yigo race track and getting some air time!

Yeah 1 shop did the suspension and another did the glass work. Molded the fenders to the factory hood and its crooked

Those fenders are sick man. Im sure my grandma would freak out though if she was next to it at a light.
