08 Tacoma AC blower speed issues

    Hey everyone, I just started having an issue with my 08 Tacoma. The ac speed switch is not activating the right speeds on the appropriate settings. Low speed and lower medium work fine, but then upper medium and high speeds, when selected, go back to blow on low speed. Did a little research, could it be the switch itself or the resistor?
    Thank you in advance, summer is here in AZ and low speed is not helping much
