I have a super 40 and it sounds a lot deeper than that with just a drop in K&N filter. I'm probably going to get some custom piping done soon to deal with that crossover pipe that hangs too damn low on the late gen Tacos. Gonna have it cut off and dump it off right above the axle since having a protruding exhaust pipe is more of a liability when you're in the rocks where I end up wheeling.

Sounds great man, I had a flowmaster on my 2000 TRD and loved it. I gave that truck to my son today. It was painful watching him drive away in it but I'm keepin it in the family. Gonna get a flowmaster on my 2009 TRD after I get a new sound system

You know what sucks...I really want an exahust but nothing sounds good after having my Dodge Ram w/HEMI engine...

I had an eletric cutout and that thing was mean sounding...nothing else compares now...

No you can't V8s just have an awesome sound. Tacos don't sound bad, i have a flow 40 on mine, but it definitely isn't a v8 rumble.

So it is true!!!!! I thought i was trippin!!!! I installed my flowmaster when my truck barely had 100 miles on it and now that it's close to being broken in at 2,600 miles i swear it sounds louder and meaner!!!

So now after 3000-5000 miles i wanna install my cold air intake --will that make it sound even more aggressive?

I have an aero turbine on my v6 with the stock tail pipe and I love it. I Paid around 50 dollars for it at the local o'riellys and welded it on my self. Really gives a deeper exhaust note and a lot smaller and more compact the the keg sized unit from the factory
