did you have to move anything behind the grille besides the horns to fit the 700's?

 

Nope just the horns, but they are a very tight fit with a satoshi grill.

 

What size lift is on it.

 

The Camburg spindle lift with allpro expo pack is def where im headed with my lift. Just curious what you have the coilovers set at since the front still sits up abit higher, or is that straight up spindle lift?

 

About 6" in front and 4" in back.

 

Do it man you'll love it I think it's the best option for a prerunner. My coilovers are set at about 1.75" and the front sit 1" higher than the rear.

Love what you did with the accents on your interior I think I'm going to have to do that now and version 2.0 of your headlights looks badass too.

Where did you get your rear white bumper? and your white eyelids? or how did you do them?

 

My truck is a 08 sport so it came with the color matched bumper, as for the eyelids I got them off eBay and had them color matched.

 

didnt see this till now haha, but yes im def investing in a spindle lift! it is a must have for prerunners sounds good tho, i just gotta decide whether i wanna upgrade to a midtravel suspension before or after buyin the spindles

Go for the spindles first man, one because you'll love them, two because there the shit and lastly because you wont need to upgrade any other components!!!

 

love your build man! I was wondering is yours 4WD? and did you have to regear to fit those tires or is it okay with stock? I think I'm on 3.7 gears bone stock I'm looking to lift mine as well purely for looks was wondering should I go with 3" or 6" lift? I'm new to Tacomas but not to toyotas, I had a 1997 4runner, and I'm looking to do a cheap budget lift.

 

Thanks man, I'm 2wd my tires are 285's and I've had not issues with needing to re gear there are plenty of people on here with the same size tires an stock gears do you should be fine.

Since you have a prerunner as well your best option for lift would be spindles. You can pick up a set of maxtrac spindles for around $500 or a little less. If your looking for a cheep lift then you might want to do a little bit more research the only thing your going to finds for cheap is spacers and those are crap. Spindles will give you 4" of lift in the front and they keep stock geometry meaning that you won't have to throw any other parts at it to keep a stock feeling ride.
