They made very valid points I agree with everything they said. They know more then me, but expect to pay a lot of money to be worse then a stock 6 lug or a close. I picked this truck knowing I would lift it and save money but you wont be saving money... its a fun little truck I hope to keep till it drops and maybe even make it a trophy truck in the future or something with the body. Just work with what you got, but you should take there advice.

What i understand is you should have bought a prerunner and called it a day.

    Enjoy your build!

I think a lot of us did lol :annoyed:, but hey we got total chaos going for us. Other then tha I think a lot of us would be better off with prerunners. For me im just making this truck the best it can be for the 100k+ miles I hope to use it for. Once it dies I will buy the right truck 4x4 trd, but until then Ill keep rocking the lugger:broccoli:.

I fully understand where you are coming from - it's just that i alerted on your comment of 31"s on post #5. To go 31"s is the equivalent of 255/75R16. At best, i've seen 245/70R16 work on ours with the traditional, economical Spacer/AAL kit, and that is with a re-gear and the correct off-set rims. A lot of money to get there, unless you've got connections.

Fatbob's or Readylift 2.75" front spacer / 1.75" rear AAL with quality shocks, and up-rate your tires to 235 series or go 16's. This will give you a few inches, level it out, and turn that Corolla into a Tacoma. That's the most common, economic upgrade path. It has it's limitations, but it's an improvement. I'm going up against mid-sized SUV's now, not Corolla's.

Got a lot of stuff lol
I have no clue whats going on in this thread lol Just about everyone here has a spacer of some sort and an aal. I have 235/75/R15 and I get around 18 MPG (it would be better if I didn't drive like rally car). The stock tires are so tucked in it makes 5 lugs look like a hovercraft. I also have aluminum rims instead of steel which im sure help as well.

Here's a thread with some pictures
