WOW, thanks for the uber quick reply. Exactly what I needed. I dont have the anchor for the locks on the sides.
Do you know if the screws to mount the seats have washers? I have a huge pile of bolts after taking out the 09 stuff. I think i should use the ones with washers. Do you have the anchors for a child seat directly behind the seat on the drivers side?

NP, Droid makes it easy :D

There is not a washer on those 2 bolts (hump side) if that's what you are refering to. Unless there's a lock washer under it... which would make no sense lol.

Drivers side is a negative for child seat (also no latching point above, only pass side):

So awesome. Thanks for the pics. Seat covers may be a good idea for me. Are those wet okole? Do they allow access to those plastic areas in front of the female seat belts in the middle?

Yea they're wet okole. The only downside is they make them a bit hard to close and lock (though I could probably mess with the adjustment a bit and make it easier). Still looks better though and easier to keep clean lol. They don't restrict access to anything.

So here are a crapload of pics:

Pic of the rear bulkhead with blue tabs from plastic cover which need to be removed and put into the new cover if it does not have them.

When I saw the new config rr AC seating, I thought I wanted to swap out with someone with 09-10 but that was before anyone had chimed in about the practical usage of that area. Seems as tho Toyota tried to make it a shorter version of the DC. Didn't work IMO. Might be better for someone with small kids riding with them often enough to justify it, and I mean small kids. It would be better seating for them than the 05-08 setup, again IMO, but other than that wasn't gonna do swap just so I could haul a person on occasion to lunch while at work without them having to crouch like they are on a camp crapper. Too bad, someone else with an actual back seat can drive, and they do so another win for me. I don't have any kids small enough that the rear will do any good being set up like 09-10 so I just quit thinkin about the conversion in reverse to what has been done here. The flat area when both sides are folded down came in real handy when moving & is equally handy on road trips to secure/weather proof some items. Guessing to make swap complete you'd have to swap out carpet as well to not have the naked spots. Here's what the whole thing looks like with WO covers.........

I'm leaning towards getting weathertechs now that there are bare areas in the carpet, plus when I do go off roading the weather techs will be much easier to clean.

Cost was cheap because these seats were parted out from a truck that was totalled. I drove from socal to the bay area to pick them up. If purchased new it is quite pricy. Use the following to get an idea:

What points are you talking about? Since the back seats in the 08s are completely different than the 09s there are differences in the carpet patterns. Thats why there are open areas.

This is awsome. You guys might think I'm crazy but I LOVE the new design of the rear ACC seats. I have a 4 & 10 year old that sit in the back and they hate the seats. In your opinion, how difficult would it be to reverse the process? I am a former Toyota Master tech, so I am good with tools :) Let me know what you think, and maybe I'll search for the stuff. Big problem with my truck is that the interior is beige, which is more uncommon.

I'm betting you could find someone with a beige 09-10 who would trade you in a heartbeat! I was about to say I'd trade ya my 09 backseat area with you but then caught the beige comment. How do you know your kids would like the 09 style more? Hell, they are kids, leave em in there for days on end! :D

I'm about to go from an 06 AC to a 10 AC and now this has me thinking. I'm a proponent of a good stereo system but not sure about sacrificing the earlier design!

I don't see why not. What shape are yours in? I'm sure there are plenty of guys here that would do the switch with you.
