After unlocking my doors, via keyless entry remote, they re-lock after about 30 seconds:mad:......Can this be disabled? It is really annoying. Also looking to disable the dang chirp when you lock/unlock the doors.

Definitely a good thing... I've managed to unlock the doors with my remote in my pocket on several occasions by accident, so automatically re-locking is a good thing in my book.

Did u notice that you can't lock the doors when they are open and the engine is running? Makes it really hard to lock the keys inside a running truck...

    A few bolts are different.
Doesnt even have to be running, mine will not lock if any door is open. I do like the feature though.

some of this, a little of that
I'm glad my '08 doesn't chrip. Also the doors relocking themselves can be a good thing if you bump the button by accident.

the chirp also depends on whether you have the upgraded factory alarm or not, and of coarse it will make some crazy noise with an aftermarket one

pretty sure mine doesn't have an alarm? The not being able to lock the doors on a running truck sucks for me, when it's hot I leave the dog in the truck with the AC on.......now she'd tear up anyone that tried to get in, but I'd still like to be able to lock and leave running. As far as the auto locking, it sucks for me......I hate having keys in my pockets and if I hit the unlock, I'd like the truck to be unlocked when I need to get in it....not LOCKED OUT! Probably the dang insurance company's way to keep you from leaving keys in the truck! I did find a post on here about disabling the chirps, and it did work......you just gotta hit the unlock button twice to disable (I think it just stated you have to hit either button twice, but it worked anyhow, great!

they do if programmed correctly :)
the sequence is outlined on a little booklet that should be with your owners manual
pretty sure that you have to have the security system upgrade bc the dash LED is part of the instructions.

Must be with the security system upgrade, I don't have the upgrade or a little booklet.
