For those with the factory (Gentex) rear-view camera mirror, are you able to see the area directly behind the tow hitch?

I am pre-wired for the mirror and want to make sure that the camera is going to be suitable for hooking up to my trailer before I drop nearly $400 on the mirror.

    Thanks.

yes you can see the hitch actually pretty good.....backing up a small jetski trailer with the camera is kind of difficult because of the fish eye effect but its possible

Yep, you can see the hitch just fine. I use mine when backing up to my house, boat, trailers, etc... Works great and i love it.

the thing you CAN't see that kind of sucks is the exact corners of the truck. You could potentially run into something with the corner of the bumper and not see it. I can actually see my D-ring
