These are some pics of where oil drops collect also inside the passenger side support with holes. Freaky stuff 1. It dosent drip on the driveway &
    2. I tried the flourescent leak finder and nothing. Weird shit.
About 8k miles ago Oct of 21 the head gasket was replaced but honestly I beleive it was already oily before they tore it down to expose the top of the block wich would invole removing the timing chain cover etc. My 2year warranty expires in Oct and if its because they didnt seal the front cover(s)? Corectly i want to get it fixed since it cost me a small fortune. Otherwise i cant see anymore oil in my coolant & it runs like a top.
My question to 2.7 owners is do you have similar wet oily spots in this area,20221218_112309_HDR.jpg 20221218_112207_HDR.jpg 20221218_112135.jpg 20221218_112125.jpg 20221218_112325.jpg 20230304_162209_HDR.jpg is this common ??. This is my first Toyo.
Woops....I added pics of the torn boot cause its on the same leaky side, Ive since replaced the torn boot & still have issue.. also when i took it to the shop that installed the head gasket he threw all kinds of exuses at me like "the tech that dont work here no more should have retorqued all the bolts after 500 miles & that torn boot is most likely getting everything oily" I got sick to my stomach...HELP..

Get a few cans of foamy engine degreaser.

Get everything really clean in there from all angles.

Then you will be able to trace the leak a day or two after you clean it.

Yup. Wash, rinse and repeat if needed. The color of fluid would be a true tell tale also
    Wash good and let’s see

If you are not having to add PS fluid then it's not a PS rack/pump leak, it's much more likely engine oil.

Any updates? Just say a good 4” pool of oil on my right side idling for 10-15, concerning. Trucks always had a drip leak but never worried about it 1/2 quart every 3000 miles. But this new one is much more significant.

Just checked earlier i pointed out where the oil normaly usualy acumulates. Does anyone know why one side of the steeeing rack remains wetter than the other or is this normal because of an opening in the rack housing ??

You check your valve cover bolts? I just checked mine, 2 out of five on passenger side were finger loose, went to tighten drivers side to 15ftlbs like the god book says, snapped head right off…..

Put a little AC dye in your oil and shine a UV light on it at night.

The "God book" is generally referred to as "the good book".

Our trucks use ATF as power steering fluid, it's re or reddish brown.
