my 2009 taco is burning hole in the DRL lens and both are cracked. I cant believe you have to replace the whole headlight assembly to rectify this...
anyone know a way around this w/out buying new HL assembly?

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Is it just the amber DRL lens that's melted / cracked?

You can probably find the lens somewhere (I haven't looked specifically for it) and then split the headlights open and replace the amber lens... and do the black headlight mod while you're at it..
