That is an awesome looking shot Shayne.

I could not make the March course but I am for sure going to the April one. Are you going on the day run in April? Hope to see you there.

Thanks Dave! Yeah Cody was taking some great shots of the day.

Pretty sure I will be around on the April course and run too, now that the snorkel is fully plumbed I'm feeling much safer around water!

Ok that's good news. Yeah we had a good trip back. My truck has been flawless since the lift and tires. I wasn't expecting such a nice ride. You can't even tell it's lifted from behind the wheel other than the fact that it's so tall.

Well might as well add some new pictures of the headlights, still need to do a good photo shoot with a decent camera.

But here is the progress - Huge thanks to Addison from Headlight Hookups

    The progression
    IMG-20120317-00404_dfb6170ae75203314af125f5b5fe55270209f648.jpg

    NewHeadlights_5897ecb918581c8e7871a9f8e2740ab7797732c0.jpg

So all in all they are freaking amazing, the light output is something I have only seen on the high end Audi's and BMW's

So just to give you all an idea within the stock housing is a FX-R projector with Philips bulbs, Blazer fogs with 3K bulbs, 14 LED's and re-located turn signals to the outside park light location.

Will be updating more once I get some good output pictures

Here are a few output shots from when I was aiming the lights, so at 25 ft from the wall the lights are 40 inches from the ground, and the blazers are 24 inches from the ground.

1st - no light on the wall

Damn, that is one sharp looking Taco! I love the headlights, I hadn't thought of throwing blazers where the turn signals are... they're a decent little projector though, I've got them in my fog lights now :)

    Looks great!

Looking so sharp Shayne and had so much fun this past weekend. Thanks to you and all the trail leaders and the veterans as well who were so helpful. Hope to run the next one in your group though:)

Everytime I see your truck my bank account shrinks.

Thanks, I had it Powder coated in Calgary, its lasted ok, just a few spots where the coating is starting to break down. Might need to get it redone at the end of the summer

Thanks Jamie, yeah they are a ton of fun late at night on the highways, especially the 93. By chance were you headed out of Cochrane on the 11th? Thought I saw you.

A few updates and a few things in the works.

Summer Configuration, (still not sure if I like the spare in that location)

    IMG-20120611-00518_cf97dc3132fb3534b2ee9bbec166977801e14964.jpg

Hi-Lift cleaned up, Isolator added, and mounted up to the 4XRAC

How the D-Rings mounted up to the rail system on the sides

Also added a spider web cargo net to keep everything in the bed. I am still also on the lookout for 2 more Plano 1819 XXL Storage boxes, so I can better organize the bed, and keep the fluids and spare parts in a box vs. in a milk crate.

Also looks like the RTT Rack that I'm getting made for me should be on the truck by the end of the week, and hopefully the All-Pro rear comes in soon, so I can paint it, and get it ready for Whipsaw :D

Next addition will be an All-Pro rear bumper + side protectors, and possibly a CVT RTT.

Thanks! I am a huge fan of the 240's they are great on the back roads and deserted highways. I do a lot of night driving and they have paid for themselves by helping me see deer before they jump I front of my truck.

I like the yellow scatter lenses better then the clear as they throw more light and the yellow actually makes it easier to see as there is less glare off the road or water.

Those headlights are some of the only retrofit headlights that I like, I love how it is still the chrome reflective on the inside, but black outside.

ALSO, your truck is sick, one of my new favourite white ones.
