############################## Update #########################################

Here are a few important updates on the event.

1. Event Store- The tshirts, stickers (2008 and 2009), Splash Cafe clam chowder bread bowls, and chowder bowls are all available in the Event Store. The clam chowder definately needs to be preordered by you, otherwise you probably won't get any unless someone is a no show. To insure you get a tshirt or sticker, those should also be preordered, although we do plan on having a few for sale at the event. You do not have to pay through paypal or use a credit card to order, there is the option to select "Bank check, money order, other" during your checkout if you prefer to pay us that way at the event. This will get your order in and then you can pay and pick up your order at the event. If you do this, be sure to go through the whole checkout procedure and get your confirmation email of your order, this insures that we got it.

2. Attendee List- We are at 89 vehicles at this moment!!!! If you or any of your friends are planning on going but haven't got on the Attendee List, then please post up here or pm me so I can have Lance add you to the list. We are trying to keep an accurate list of who is coming, this is very helpful to us and our sponsors. So please let me know if you or your friends plan on coming. First name and vehicle will suffice, location is an added bonus just so people see where everyone is coming from.

hey dont wanna sound like a newb but is this going to be a 2wd friendly event because a normally go to the desert but have never been to pismo

 

I would but it's my buddies 30th Suprise B-Day party at the dunes. Maybe I can go both weekends and stay the whole week there!

 

Yes, lots of 2wd's are already signed up. You have to drive differently than if you had 4wd, but you can definately get around and have fun out there in 2wd. I have my 4runner in 2wd the majority of the time out there.

Ah, yeah, don't want to miss that bday party. That would be sweet if you could make it though.

There's a clam chowder feast on Sat. night from Splash Cafe, that you will have to preorder for if you're interested. (It's in the event store on the website)

 

dude i would love to if it was any weekend than that one-i have tickets to the dolphins/chargers in san diego that weekend.. Can you push it back a week??

 

Bummer man! I don't think the other 115+ rigs would like me moving it now. At least you have a good excuse to miss it, I've never been to a pro football game.

I've been wanting to go to PISMO for awhile... I'm new to California and the Central coast... plus I don't know any of you... I didn't want to go alone, as not to get stuck in the sand, so maybe I'll show up

 

Sounds like this is the perfect trip for you then. Lots of people to meet and plenty of willing people around with recovery straps.
