Looking for a cheap head unit to install for blue tooth audio in my 09 tacoma.

I would prefer a touchscreen with Carplay/GPS and back-up camera set up, but all I really need for now is to play my music from my phone or talk hands free.

Also, are there any upgrade options for USB charge ports?

If you find a member selling a HU out of a 2012+ Tacoma, they'll plug and play in your 2009. I swapped my '09 JBL radio with one from a '12 JBL OEM and it was completely plug and play. Keeps the look stock too!

Granted, my 2009 already had bluetooth, so not sure what harness you'd need (if any) if yours doesn't already have bluetooth.

The cheap Amazon/Ebay Android tablets work pretty well. I did a Boss head unit on my 06 years ago and it didnt have carplay, just Bluetooth and I really wanted the map on there for hunting so I just installed an Android unit with Carplay and it works well. More plug and play than my Boss unit which required crimping. This Android unit plugged directly into all 3 stock harnesses and also utilizes the steering wheel controls without anything extra. They're about $100. We'll see how long it lasts!!
