This is how it looks for every win.

This is special wins like beating OU and conference championships.

And they add the 1 for NCAA titles.

I think its pretty cool. At least its better than rolling your own campus with toilet paper.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Building_%28University_of_Texas_at_Austin%29The tower usually appears illuminated in white light in the evening, but is lit in various color schemes for special occasions, including athletic victories and academic accomplishments, such as commencement, preferably white and orange. To mark more somber events, such as the passing of a former president of the university, the tower remains darkened with an eerie grey glow through the night.
Carl J. Eckhardt Jr., head of the Physical Plant in 1931, supervised the construction of the Main Building Tower. Eckhardt devised a lighting system to take advantage of its commanding architecture to announce university achievements. Beginning in 1937, orange lights were used to symbolize important events at the University; by 1947, standard guidelines for using the orange lights were created, and these have been updated since. Today there are many different options for lighting, including a darkened tower to signify solemn occasions. An orange tower with office windows lit to form the numeral "1" is used for national championships in NCAA sporting events.[9]

I was just about to say the same thing. That's among the dumbest 'traditions' in college football.

And the Boise moron gets KO'ed on national TV and "internally handled discipline". Seems fair.

Doesn't look like OSU is going to be able to handle even an off USCal team... they really seem to be struggling with Navy. Geez, that was close.

GO BLUE!! MUCH improved team from last year. Still rebuilding and not expecting to be a top 20 team, but it's gotta be better than last year.

Yea, but all he did was taunt someone. Give him a slap on the hand. That's what football is about. Hitting people and talking crap. Blount had like 8 rushes for -5 yards or somethin, he deserved to be taunted.

Speaking of hittin people, what's the deal with not bein able to leave your feet and hit someone when they're catchin the ball, or trying to catch the ball but only tip it. I'm not 100% sure about the rule, all I know is UGA got flagged for it today and it just looked like a good football play to me. The rule used to be if the ball is tipped everyone's fair game. he tipped the ball, and got laid out. Isn't that football? Gotta stop puttin in all these pussy rules. Let's make it a non-contact sport while we're at it.

Nope. You can't touch people. I think they let em hit harder in basketball now. UGA had a couple calls that dind't go our way, but from what I saw (which wasn't a lot), we didn't play like we wanted to win anyway.

And yes, I hope OK loses.

Roll Tide, baby! I was worried there for a while, and I don't know what in the fu** that wildcat formation is about, but we pulled it out. I don't know why Saban doesn't put Upchurch in every down. Yes, he fumbled, but just about anybody would have given the hit he took on the ball. He's a beast.

Sucks about OU losing their heisman-winner. Hope he's not out for the season, or OU can ago ahead and pack it in. If that Mexi-stash dude couldn't make it happen against BYU, he ain't gonna cut it against real teams down the line.

I was going to come on here and brag about the ol' SEC, but fu**ing UGA screwed that up for me. What was that, 'dawgs'?

I've had too much to drink... I'm out for the night. ROLL TIDE!

Glad to see LSU is finally pulling away from Washinton. I was REALLY going to have to keep my "SEC kicks ass" mouth shut if the Huskies won that one!
