even if they do shut down tebow, the gators are STACKED, they have an amazing D, awesome O-line and with rainey james and demps in the backfield.... FTW lol

 

we have enough FL fans on here for some good debate/opinions... what do y'all think about your coach leaving for Notre Dame when Tebow graduates?

I'm surprised all you Bama fans haven't been more critical of UF since Urban Meyer actualy helped Utah scout and prepare for the Sugar Bowl last season... I know he's the ex Utah coach but you're in the SEC now buddy. I sure know I'd be pissed of Les Miles helped Ok State against another SEC school... (except maybe Ole Miss, ) Just food for thought...

 

I actually hadn't heard about that.

Regardless, it wasn't Urban's fault we lost to Utah. We should have won that game, but we didn't and that's the way it goes.

I'll ALWAYS pull for an SEC team in an inter-conference matchup. As much as I want to beat UF's brains in if/when we play them, I want them to win the NC if that's where they end up.

 

Correct.....The Gators have most parts back from their team last year, and Percy Harvin wasn't the guy who carried the team. OU needs to prove their O line will be okay, and most likely will take a few games to get some cohesion. Texas needs to find a suitable running back, so if I had to pick a pre-season#1 it would be no doubt Florida....BTW USC is in rebuild (more like reload) mode.

michigan is actualy my main team but like usc they are in a major rebuild..... i like watching florida though cuz i played against a bunch of them in highschool

The best game of the year will be UF at LSU... Death Valley SEC match up. 2nd best of the year will be Texas Oklahoma. Ok and UT fans feel free to mix and match the 1-2 order here as you see fit, but all in all, these are the biggest two games of the season. As always... hard to get homework done on Saturdays and Sundays during football season...

 

Yeah that was really disappointing for me too. That was the second biggest embarrassment for the SEC that year (next to Tennessee's loss to my Wyoming Cowboys... people around campus went nuts...) They prepared better and came in with the superior game plan. Alabama just thought they'd roll over the Mountain West school... which they should of.

Let everyone count AUBURN out again. Last time Tuberville's job was on the line (everyone against him), we went UNDEFEATED in the SEC which hasn't happend in a long time. I'm not saying we would have beaten USC but we would have given them a hell of a game compared to OU.

I didn't support the decision with our new coach, but I will stand by G. Chiznik. He was on our UNDEFEATED team in 05', on the National Championship team at Texas, and is an awesome recreuiter. If he was still at Texas when he was hired, everyone would have said it was a GREAT decision (I'll get off my soapbox now)


The SEC is by far the best conference. It is the only conference where the lineman can run down the tailback for a tackle!
