We've done the same thing for the past three years.... :pout:

Like in 2007 when were ranked 2nd in the nation our season took a sharp dive downwards after a crippling loss to Rutgers...(a game in which the refs won)....

Also in 2008 the same shit happened.....

It seems once we become ranked our drive and focus goes out the door and we think we are untouchable. That royally pisses me off .

The first step to being a better team :

TAKE THE FUCKING GLITTER OUT OF YOUR HELMETS!
    THIS IS BIG BOY FOOTBALL!!!!
GLITTER IS FOR LITTLE GIRLS AND STRIPPERS!!!!!!

sorry for that outburst but glitter in a football helmet really pisses me off.

Besides that it was a good game back and forth kept me interested to the end.

x2. It's a neat way to honor the vets. Now if they can just not embarrass it/themselves by getting demolished. The Ole Ball Coach's team is doin pretty decent though.

I am bummed my Hawkeyes lost tonight, but damn they put up a hell of a fight. Our backup freshman quarterback did awesome considering it was is first start AND he had to play at the horse shoe.

Any day USC loses is a good day...but it's better when it's to STANFORD. Surely the media will get off their knees and drop USC at least out of the top 15 after that loss.

In other good news...my Dawgs pulled out a win. Just hopin Rambo and Green are OK. Especially Rambo. Anytime a player goes down stiff it's not good. He saved the game for us. And of course we need A.J. He's the only player worth much that we have.

Another game, another team who thinks black jerseys will do something, another Bama Victory.

Any MSU fans on here? Can you explain why you insist on those stupid-ass cowbells in every game? You look like idiots, and the added noise CLEARLY doesn't make up for the fact that you play in a high school stadium. Why don't you go home, hook the bell back to good ol' Bessy, and leave it there.

Best cowbell-related comment of the night came from Eli Gold, the Alabama radio guy: "Those MUST be real cowbells, because the SEC doesn't allow artificial noise makers."

31-3... Looks like the cowbells and black jerseys worked.

    ROLL TIDE!

Oh... and +1 on all the USC comments. WTF was that? Highest points allowed ever... biggest differential since the 80's. Talk about laying an egg.

I bet they fall all the way to #12, though

Are you kidding? Even a USC fan has to admit they shouldn't have been above Oregon last week. They didn't deserve a top 10 this week, and they barely deserve to stay in the top 25... I think they're where they should be now.
