to be honest i'm sick of hearing about Tebow also. But if Alabama or Texas would have been ranked number 1 all year then i would be sick of hearing about Ingram or McCoy

Lol I sure did. My father went to the university of arkansas for his undergrad. We are on family vacation and he is a huge SEC fan as well as a Pac 10 fan because he got his masters from USC. So we were talking about it. So I just had to throw it out there because outside the pac 10 the hogs are my fav team, well I love watching thier basketball team. Earlier 90's kick ass. With corliss, stewart, therman. Those guys!!!

    FIFY

We beat Florida for the SEC in '99. It's not a NC, but I'd still consider it shit that we've done.

Also... Alabama is the only team to win the SEC Championship in EVERY decade since the beginning of the conference.

You live in Mobile, don't you?

What kind of florida fan brags on the accomplishments of florida state and the U???

Sure do!!! :). Plus my wife is a huge cornhusker fan. Grandfather grew up there and went there and grandmother was a longhorn. Plus my wife Is close friends with Brian savelio. So her heart is with florida. A true florida knows him. She actually went to arizona so she. Plus a close friend of mind is Jim lynch. So I got close college ties all over the nation. I grew up with staworth so I watch the vols. My brother Went to USC was at 2002 to 2006 and I used to party with reggie bush and those guys.

Thank you for expressing the thoughts of 49 states of the U.S. And apparently, according to the Heisman votes, the majority of the Heisman "experts."

Colt is not happy. That bodes well for Texas.

Ingram is a crap choice for the award. He isn't even the best back on his team. Gehert should have won. He is a beast.

That look from Colt is evil.

Ingram is not a crap choice. And he is the best back on the team, though Richardson could surpass him next year.

Against top 25 teams, Ingram averaged like 170 yards/game. He had 3 TD's against the best defense he saw all year.

Gehert wasn't a finalist... but Toby Gerhart played in the PAC 10, where we all know he didn't face as many good defenses. He may be a beast, but I'd take Ingram over him any day of the week.

I think what is lost in all this discussion is props to the coaches. Props to Nick Saban. I said it 3 years ago that he was a great hire. Saban outcoached a more talented Florida team to win the SEC. Saban is a great coach. I love Mack Brown! Being a Texas fan of course Im gonna praise Mack! He is the best coach in the NCAA in 2nd half adjustments. I cant name off how many times Texas went into the half either down or up by a close margin and blew em out in the 2nd half. It should be a great matchup. Good luck Alabama, you can have the Heisman (Ingram is a good HB and played well when it mattered in the SEC C game). Ill be happy with the crystal football going back to Austin again.

Dont get me wrong...Corch Urban Meyers is a good coach but he is not as good as Saban or Brown in my opinion. Yea you can mention he has 2 NC rings....BUT lets not forget that Meyer has won with Zook's recruits. Meyer had nothing to do with Tebow, Murphy, Percy HARVEY, or those studs on defense. Now the time has come to see what his recruits are gonna do next year with zook's seniors leaving. But like I said. HE IS A GOOD COACH. Before you start saying that I said Meyer sucks.

The only thing I hate about Mack Brown is that there's nothing to hate about him. Sure, it was annoying to hear him talk about how UT deserved to be in the NC (and Big12) games last year, but he was RIGHT! He's not a screamer (that I've seen), he doesn't do anything stupid, and even his ESPN Game Day commercial is great. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to immitate the "We don't free style Texas Fight, big boy," line from that commercial. Love it.

He just seems to be such a great guy.... dammit.

Urban Meyer's coaching ability will be tested next year w/o Tebow. I'm not saying he's not a great coach (yet), but if he's not, it'll be a lot easier to tell without Tebow to fall back on.

Saban's easy to hate... but darnit, with these Crimson glasses on, I just can't seem to see any of the reasons why.
