Conferences like the Big-10 are looking to posible add a team or two to warrant a conference championship system. Whatever happened to the dreams of the ACC super conference with Miami, FSU and VT.......yeah..pretty dominant . Yes SEC as much as it pains me to say is the premier conference due to the top to bottom caliber teams. Big-12 is a distant second.....Damn you Big-12 North....get on the stick already.
IMO teams cannot lay a stake to an MNC unless it was one through BCS format, so Auburn in 2004....nope, USC in 2001....nope quit losing to Oregon St, Standford, and UCLA maybe then you will play once more for the BCS title.

Yeah poor Major Applewhite was deposed for Simms...things might of turned out differently for the better had Applewhite played out his eligibility.

did you try stubb hub. We found tickets there last year.....Even if you can't get in the game, the Texas State fair is pretty cool on it's own...

For you horn fans, the only McCoy's name that you'll be hearing is that of Gerald McCoy, as Colt is picking grass out of his helmet and realigning his facemask..

 

No, I'll go if get drawn for tickets (I have season tickets) but otherwise I will watch it on TV.

 

The RRS is one of the few games that I would love to attend in person....the Atmosphere is unreal, and of course the Texas St fair.......If it can be fried, they have it

I went last year; and it is electric in the stands. Really is a sight to see, half ugly orange and half crimson, both sides shouting at each other in unison. Everyone from either side, that is a true fan or football, really ought to go at least once.

But the craziest atmosphere I've ever felt in a game was 2000 #1 NU v #2 OU when we took the lead in the 4th quarter. That was wild. Close second was last years ass whipping of TT.

 

Due to the hype leading up to the biggest game of the 2009 season it appears cooler heads have prevailed and are going to settle the score once and for all!

Note: I had totally spaced that because I'm not exactly a huge UW football fan... but Texas will be coming to my school to play this year... yeah that's right, they will be matched up against my Wyoming Cowboys in Laramie, Wy. Hahahaha... should be fun to watch at least.
