Holy shit. I have no voice. I am sore and tired. Screw 76 rows up in the Rose Bowl. That is a hell of a hike.

What a game!!! Colt goes down in the first 5 minutes. you could feel the tension and dispare on the UT side of the stadium. It was depressing. The Longhorn fans booed the offence after the 30th run up the middle. Thank god Greg Davis let the kid throw. GIlbert is going to be one hell of a QB.

THe Rose Bowl was a great experience. The game ended up being amazing. I don't know if COlt would have beat bama, as he would not have had any help from the rest of the offence, other than shipley. Our receivers dropped any balls that hit their hands. Colt can throw them the ball, but they would have had to catch it.

I feel bad for Colt. Its football and injuries happen. Bama won against a great defence. The last points were bullshit. Our D legit allowed them 17 ponts. Not bad. I was very proud of them.

    Congrats to bama.

    ou sucks.

    Hook'EM HORNS!!!!!!!

You still good w/ our deal? I attached the file I use for my avitar. I think Friday to Thursday is good enough.

I'm jealous.... I wish I could have gone. I'm glad Texas came back and made it a game, too. It's going to be bad enough hearing people say we won a game against a team w/o their best player, but it would have been MUCH worse if we'd ended up winning 45-6 or something.

I don't agree that the last two scores were complete crap. McCoy would have fumbled if he was hit like that, and we get plenty of interceptions late in games.

Anyway, it was a much better game than I thought it was going to be halfway through the first quarter. And that QB is going to be good. We might just see y'all again next year in Arizona.

Ingram - One of only four guys since 1950 to win Heisman, go undefeated, and win a NC in the same season... not to mention Offensive MVP of the BCS NC Game.

    Ingram TD.jpg

Saban: Only the second coach to win SEC Championships with two different teams (the other was The Bear w/ Kentucky and Bama), and the ONLY coach to win a NC at two D-1 schools.

I only got to watch the 2nd half, but I noticed a couple missed calls last night, and a couple that would have given Texas a first down. Would they have won the game because of it? I dont know, would they have scored a touchdown? I dont know. But this game is all about momentum. It would have been a completely different game if McCoy wouldnt have gotten hurt. But Gilbert stepped up big time and will have a great career ahead of him.

Yeah, there were some questionnable calls in the game. I'm just glad there wasn't a really bad call that will be talked about for years.

The worst call of the game... Texas not taking a knee to go into the half down 17-6. Sure, if the pass is completed nobody's talking about it today, but if you're not going to go big at that point, why take the risk at all? The way the second half turned out, that defensive TD turned out to be HUGE.

I'm jealous!! Wish I couldve been there! I dont care if it wouldve been in the very top row. To watch a National Championship game like that, in that stadium....what an experience that must have been!!!!

I totally agree Gilbert will be an awesome QB in the next year or 2. I'm sure TX will be back in the hunt!

Somebody just sent this to me. This is the ass-hat that ran onto the field during the game. For those of us who weren't there, they just switched to a shot from the blimp so we barely saw what happened. It looked to me like he ran onto the field, did a cartwheel, ran around a little bit, then laid down on the 5 when security got close. When I saw it during the game, I though, "What a sissy... just laying down." Now I understand a little bit better....

Matt I know. Never said they were and back then I was saying the same thing. Until a playoff. I don't watch any bowl game, because I don't believe in the system and don't believe in the bcs, and the ranking system. So i am not giving bcs my ratings and the money

    Hah!

The local radio guys here said that when the guy got onto the field, the state troopers traveling w/ the team got in front of Saban, which I think is hella cool. I assume the same happened w/ Mack Brown, but they're biased and were only paying attention to our coach.

Heres some things I wanna say:

    1. Congrats Alabama.

    2. It was not that bad but I think the last TD was a bit classless. Kneel the ball.

    3. Completely different outcome with Colt.

    4. Our future at QB looks good.

    5. Colt's 4 years career was great. Thanks Colt.

    6. OU SUCKS! At least we didnt roll over like OU would have. Now ill leave you with these images....

There was nothing classless about it. It's football. I hate when people cry about running the score up. If you don't want them to score, keep them out of the endzone.

This is the ONLY thing I agree with Bill Belichek on. The game's not over until the final whistle. Play hard until then. If they can't keep you out of the endzone, it's their fault. If you can score 60, do it.

I have to agree... we were up by 10 at the time. If we try to kneel the ball and fumble the snap, Texas has a minute or so to throw a couple of deep balls and score. The way Shipley was playing towards the end, that's not COMPLETELY out of the realm of possibility. Then we're just ANOTHER f'ed up special teams play from letting y'all have a chance at a field goal to tie.

It's the national championship, you take ZERO chances. I have no problem with what we did. I don't think it showed a lack of class at all. If we were up by 17, then I think you'd have a point. But the way our special teams let us down early in the game, and (like I said), the way Shipley had turned it on late, you just never know.

EDIT: Does anybody know the time on the clock when we intercepted the ball before scoring the final time? I can't find it. I know we scored (per Yahoo Sports) at 2:01 and at 0:47, but I don't know when inbetween those times we intercepted.
