Has anyone else noticed their stereo volume lowering when coming to a stop?
I thought it was kinda cool at first, but now I don't like it.

Not on my truck cause it's an 07, but yes the newer ones have the ability to raise and lower the volume based on vehicle speed.

Is this something that can be turned off?
I searched but couldn't find anything about it.

I belive so... I have an '09 w/the JBL system and in the audio options there is an "ASL" (auto sound level - I think) option that can be turned off...

Thanks... just googled it and I believe you are correct.
For anyone else that doesn't know...
Press the tuner knob and cycle through base, treble, etc. till you get to ASL.
From there you can adjust the setting, including turning it off.

This option should be the last adjustment you can make after the bass, treble, etc...

I did too at first, but I catch myself trying to turn it up every time
I get to a light or stop sign.
