'09 Taco Axel Shaft/Half Shaft--how much is too much play?

I posted some concerns with my half shaft in a previous thread on my lower control arms being replaced with a clunking noise... this is a new post so it's easier to search for anyone else with the same concern.

The drivers side has more play than the passenger side, which is normal. BUT how much is too much??

Here's a video compering the play on each side. I have a 27-28 hour drive late May from Belgium to Italy with two puppers. Trying to get any and all maintenance done before the trip to keep the chances of something happening to a minimum.
