    My friend and I took her horses to Corolla last summer in June and went riding on the beach for the day. It was awesome, that was my first time going to those beaches..

    Small world. Seems like there are a lot of people from our area on this forum.

    Yeah, unfortunately most horses don't do well after dark (when their vision is impaired they spook at anything and everything).. especially when they are not familiar with their surroundings... could end up badly.. but then again I haven't tried yet! :)

    Thank you :) I will be pulling my horse trailer for the first time with my new truck tomorrow so I will have to get pics of that! You have to ignore how hideous my trailer is though, it is older than me and green but was very cheap and is in pretty good condition..

    I had no idea horses were scared or uncomfortable with the dark. Thanks for the knowledge.

    Who cares about the condition of the horse trailer. If it works it works. It's not like you have to tow it down the road or do you?

    You mean drive it on the road? Yeah, you drive it on the road. It is in good functional condition it just has some rust and it the ugliest green I have ever seen LOL! :rolleyes:

    Thank you. I don't have it right now because I am getting the protection package put in so they stuck me with a Carolla :puke: lol I don't like driving cars.. I miss my truck *tear*
