Had my check engine light coupled with the slip indicator light pop up recently on my 2009 Prerunner. I have a carchip code reader and it returned the following codes to me:

P0100-Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit
P3165-Unknown Powertrain DTC (Manufacturer controlled; Fuel and Air Metering and Aux)
    C2583-Unknown Chassis DTC (Manufacturer controlled)

Those last 2 codes seem to be some type of BBV sensor related issues, but I'm not very clear.

    What I've tried so far:
Removed and cleaned the MAF sensor with appropriate cleaner. Allowed to fully dry and replaced.
Cleared code, restarted engine and codes immediately returned.
Replaced MAF sensor with new part. Cleared code, restarted engine and codes immediately returned.

any tips on what I should try next? Almost seems like some type of wire issue possibly? Or something to do with the fuel tank vacuum sensor? But I also don't want to assume it isn't something more major

I’d look and see what the grams/per sec. for the MAF Sensor.
You’ll need a scan tool for this. Most of the new ones now days with live data show this.

See if it is really High or Low.
You may have a shorted or open circuit.
