he had sonogram scans done on his brain heart and kidney's and everything checked out good.

So now we just have to wait and let him grow .. he has a few milestones to surpass before he can come home

    Breath without oxygen tubes (Check)
    Put on some weight
Eat from the boob and bottle without a drop in heart rate
    Clear up his Jondas

So we are probobly lookin at 2 - 3 weeks.. he has lost 5 oz since he was born.. which is Normal.

We got some really hard news last night.. the test results came back from his blood work and his Chromosones.. Our little guy has Down Syndrome.

His heart, brain, Kidneys, and lugs are all doing well we wont be able to tell how Mild to severe it will effect him but the dr has told us that phsycially his organs are all working properly and that it will take time to determine if he will have any metal or intellectual issues..

I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers, and please atleast keep him in your hearts and prayers, I love him soo much and just want to give him everything i can.

I gave congrats in the other thread, then never looked in here again and saw your post about a charity and wondered....
I'm sorry for the pain you have gone through, but I'm happy that you are embracing your situation and taking steps to not only improve your sons quality of life but others also. I can only imagine the reading and research you have done on Downs Syndrome. Be strong for your family, your son will grow up to be a great person. I've worked with disabled children in my past and it is very rewarding. Get involved in organizations and join groups, talk to other families. I wish you and your family the best .
