I went to https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls to see if my 2016 certified pre-owned Tacoma TRD Sport had to have any recalls performed by plugging in my VIN, and I got this:

0Unrepaired Recalls associated with this VIN
I'm guessing that's a good thing, but wanted to be sure. The one recall that scares the %$# out of me is the Engine Stalling recall:

    Summary:

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2016-2017 Tacoma vehicles equipped with a six-cylinder engine. The affected vehicles have a crank position sensor that may malfunction, potentially resulting in an engine stall.

    What should you do:

Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will replace the crank position sensor with an improved design, free of charge. The recall began July 26, 2017. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's number for this recall is H0H.
    But I guess I'm OK???

Yeah, sounds like you are good.

I had the CPS recall service done on my 16 SR5, no big deal really.

Go to the Toyota website and punch in your Vin, you will see the complete history of what's been done at dealerships.

Good luck with the new ride, and welcome to the forum.

Thanks. When I looked at the history, nowhere do I see any recall warranty done on the CPS.
I HOPE that's because it doesn't apply to the TRD Sport??

it's VIN specific, not model year specific. think batch production. if the VIN report says you're good then you're good regarding recalls and TSBs.

Sounds like it's saying no open recalls.

Yep- that's a relief, especially about the engine stall CPS. I've had my share of stalling problems with my old Ford Ranger that I just got rid of!
