so i decided on the 1.5 front lift. they should be...if i’m correct 3/4 thick. how much stud did you have to remove to fit the 1” spacers and did you reuse the original nuts? thanks for your help bud

I just ordered the 1.5 redline kit. They make the gas struts to lift the hood. Work great and no more hood prop. Yeah

At the risk of stating the obvious...

A 1" lift will typically level the front with the rear factory height. If you go 1.5" front lift, you'll want to also lift the rear (unless negative rake is the goal).

Truck below was lifted 1.55" in the front (Bilstien 5100's) and spacer blocks were used in rear (0.5" passenger side and 1" driver side because of lean), along with 5100's. Tires are 265/70r17. Wheels are 8.5" wide with -6 offset. Slight rubbing on WeatherTech mud flaps. Originally tried 1.1" lift, but rubbing was excessive.

Still at a loss how a 1/2 spacer raises it 1 inch. I am having my favorite front end shop install them and the do a thrust alignment. Getting my fuel rims and Nitto ridge grapplers tomorrow and then since they are so booked up it well be the 20th of sept. For the lift. I love the looks of the front being up a little. They said the 1.5 is what they install all the time. Redbuilt.

Simple explanation is "geometry", and applies only to the front end.

Now i get the geometry thing, when they had my wheel off today i saw the angle of the coil over shock and lower control arm. They ordered the leveling kit 1.5 or 3/4 of a inch spacer. My truck only has 1500 miles on it and i can’t see any lean yet. Thanks for the pictures of your rig. Nice looking taco.

so i got the “1.5” set of spacers. i’m pretty sure these are to tall. correct me if i’m wrong but shouldn’t they be 3/4 thick for a 1.5 lift? they said they are correct. thanks.

That is correct, 3/4 thick for a 1.5 inch lift.

Guy you are way too paranoid. 90% of people lift 2-3” with no issues except the panties getting thrown at them. Vibration issues are easily solved with $20 dollar shims. The needle bearing can go without a lift. Why are you looking at a spacer lift? Do you care about your ride quality at all?

Then in all your research, you should understand that spacer lifts decrease the performance of your suspension and can also lead to axl warp

Do you have a picture of these installed? I’m trying to set what studs look like with the spacer and their nuts. Thanks
