I just bought some Wheelers 15x8 with 4" backspacing and a OME lift for my 99 TRD. I am planning on putting 33x12.5x15 tires on and know i need wheel spacers and was wondering if the 1.25" is too much or I will be ok?

You might not even need the spacers. You'll definitely have to trim the fender liner a bit, and maybe beat the pinch weld back. I would wait and see how bad the tires rub (probably on the frame) and then get spacers if necessary.

Why didn't you just buy the 3.5" backspace wheels? Did wheelers not have em? I run those sane size tires and rim but with 3.5 BS. No frame or component rubbing. But as said above fender plastic and pinch weld mod will need done for sure to avoid excessive rubbing.

Wheelers does not offer the 15th in 3.5" and I wanted to go with a wheel that I know will clear the calipers. Guess it doesn't matter now with spacers
