Does adding the taco lean spacer on top of these systems cause any loss of ride quality or effect the shock in any negative way?
I know people are pretty adamant against spacers, but I never see any negatives talked about with this.

My next question would be, since the top clip is reserved for extra weight and provides a rough ride on the Eibach otherwise.
Would there be any harm in going to second clip (2.5") and 1/4" spacers on both sides to acheive 3"

I know there's better ways, but apart from all new suspension. Is this a bad idea?

You could do that. Did you get UCA’s ? Also ECG’s bushing?

I already did the ECG bushing, I'd have to get UCA's if I go this route which would be the plan. I know it's kind of bastardizing a lift, but I do light offroading (fire roads, camping/fishing trails) and most of my driving is highway/daily driver

I’m running bilstein 5100’s, OME coils, SPC UCA’s and Icon AAL. Also 1/4” spacer on drivers side. ECGS bushing and CMC.

The truck rides great on pavement and fire road type trails.

    Work in progress...
Exactly what I did on my 6112's. I used lower spring settings and 1/4 inch spacers.

Put it this way, I put a 2" spacer on my truck when it was brand new and it drove exactly the same as it did the day I bought it. I am however aware I do not want to do heavy off roading with it and will be going with 5100's shortly.

I had a 2" spacer on mine first as well. Noticed no rode quality difference then stock.
I upgrade to Eibach shocks and springs a couple of months later and the ride quality was greatly improved.
I had no issues with the spacer as you said.
