    Good day.

Package's came in the mail today:

    OME 884's with trim packer.
    N182 rear shocks
    Deaver AAL

Sadly, this weekend is busy so the install will have to wait for next week or weekend (weather permitting).

Too late for OP, but what about Ironman 4x4 2" lift kit? Would be nice to hear more feedback on it, but seems like it is not very popular here. (yet?)

OP: Nice truck and beautiful scenery. Sub'd to see more pics with lift installed.

Good choices! You're going to love it.
I put the 885s (same spring rate as 884s) & Dakars on my 4Banger AC & got 3" front & rear (what I wanted).
Great ride on & off road and it got even better after taking the sway bar off, try it you'll like it. If you don't you wasted a 1/2 hour by taking it off & putting it back on.

    So 885 or 884 on a DCSB?

    884 is 2" and 885 is 3" ?

My brother just installed 885 OME kit on his 2006 4Runner, its excellent, actually feels much better then even stock on mine.

885s should be around 2.5 on a double cab

I went with the impressions that:

    884 - 1.75-2" of lift.
    885 (no top plate) - 2.5"
    885(with top plate) -3".

Hopefully this week I will be able to say what the lift of my 884's is. I hate being to busy to install the lift. Everyday I just look at it sitting on my carpet collecting dust.

I can't bring myself to pay someone $4-500 to install something I can easily do myself even if I don't have the time.

Your not alone. I have had a complete OME setup sitting in my garage for over a month. I got qouted for almost twice that amount though. There is only one offroad shop in my state so they are a rip off and i dont trust any basic garage with my truck. I think i may need to get "sick" with the "flu" and take a few days off of work.

I'm running the Cooper Discoverer AT3 in a 275/70/17 on the 2011 4Runner 6 spoke rims. Phenominal tire! Better than the Nittos, BFG ATs, Pirellis and ProComps I've had in the past. Plus the slightly larger size fills the well nicely, even with no lift (yet). I, too, am looking at only 2" of lift so I don't have to fart around with the issues that come with 3"+ of lift. Toytec Ultimate C/Os up front and a Wheeler's 3-leaf progressive AAL pack in the back. At least that's the plan until something better comes along....

Subd. I park mine in a garage and will need to do something up front after pelfrey skid, bruteforce bumper. I do want extra height in rear for always hauling heavy loads.
    Thanks op.

Sorry guys, super busy lately. Another week might go by before you see the final product.

I was going to install it today, but didn't have new U-bolts, and the shop is closed on Sunday's so I will have to get the bolts tomorrow.

Installed the front today and removed the sway bar.

Have minor vibes, hopefully they will be fixed when I install the rear tomorrow.

Will post pics tomorrow when the rear is done.

I personally can't wait to see the result .

I am actually looking at getting 884's along with my stock shocks, and TSB AAL for the rear. I have a DCLB. I found this option to be budget friendly and the easiest before you need to upgrade more things.

    Finally.

    OME 884x with trim packer
    Nitro Sports
    Toytec 1.5" TSB AAL
    N182 rear shocks
    265/70/17 General Grabber AT2

Do not have any before or after measurements.

Looks SO much better in person, pictures don't do the truck justice. I wish I had before pictures to compare, it looks quite a bit bigger in person.

I think spidertrax are next on my list.

IMO 884's are the perfect lift for 32" tires on a double cab. 32's (265/70/17) just dont seem to have enough meat under a 3" lift.
