i need help choosing, right now i need a little lift in the rear of my truck, i found a 1.5" shackle lift for 50 bucks, or i can order a brand new leaf pack, i already have a 3" AAL on 1st gen springs

are there any cons to using a shackle?

considering how many miles you have on a first gen, if the original leaf packs, get the new leaf packs... i would start with the Deaver J59s... what are you running up front?

i dont recall J59s ever being that expensive...

don't get the 3" lift springs... get the J59s and 9" custom shackles... then run 12" or 14" shocks...
