I think the factory skid plate in the front would help hide the gap in the front:

And nerf bars on the side hide the frame there...

I think with the 3" coils, 1.5" BL, skid plate and nerfs you still come in under a grand and have a 4.5" lift for a lot less $$$$$

Right now, my truck is essentially stock. I plan to eventually throw $$ at it, but not yet. I picked up a set of 255/85/16s. Does anyone know if these would fit under my 2012 base model 4x4 with a 1" BL? Thanks.

255/85/16 is a 33 inch tire. a one inch BL isnt going to work without lots of rubbing

I don't have any pictures currently... I have a 1" and honestly you cant barely tell. 1.5" might be noticeable because the lip under the tailgate ends. but 1" is fine. and I am super pickey about that shit.

p.s. if you were unaware the 4crawler 1" kit does not include brackets, they are unnecessary, neither bumpers move, and the front bumper can stretch up one inch without structural failure.

Puma On-board air, Helo 791 rims, 315/75/r16 Mt/r, Radflo CDC ext coilovers with 14" 700# springs, extended length rear Radflo shocks with CDC, Dakar leak pack, Brute Force Fab front bumper galvanized and powder coated, DTRL mod, yellow fogs, fog anytime mod, relocated rear differential breather, synthetic fluid swap, Afe drop in dry filter, secondary air filter removed, Airflow snorkle, 4x innovation sliders powder coated, Aero Turbine 2525xl exhaust dumped over axle, seat belt chime disabled, Warn 8000i winch, 2- 20" light bars, 42" curved roof light both with custom brackets. Mesh grill, Brute Force Fab rear bumper with extra reverse lights, u bolt flip kit, SS extendend brake lines, hockey puck bump stop extension, AT shackle flip kit, Light Racing UCA's, 4crawler 1.5" bodylift. custom built front and mid skid plates, regeared to 4.56s, windows tinted 25%, Sony stereo, 12" subwoofer, 1000 watt mono amp, retrofit headlights with legal demon eye, Kryptek Marathon seat covers.
I simply cut my rear plate bumper brackets in half, moved them down 1.5" and re-welded them. 1.5" extra gap looked awful and I imagine a 1" gap would look just as bad. Also note, getting your spare tire out from under the truck with a 1.5" BL takes alot more work and possibly cutting a very small insignificant part of your frame off. I can take pics if needed. If your have a plate bumper in the front there is no "stretching" steel. Something to think about. Front plate bumper had to be rebuilt to match as well. Feel free to pm with questions

Moving the rear bumper up after a bodylift will also help increasse departure angle
