So to get a more aggressive stance, I decided to install some 1" BORA spacers and while I have the wheels off I am gong to Plasti Dip them.... This is the truck prior.

Nice job. I've got Bora spacers on my truck aswell. Make sure you take off the wheels and re-tighten those lug nuts after about 50 miles. I also check tightness every tire rotation, which for me is every oil change (5k).

Checked the spacer bolts at 5 miles (per included directions) and at about 70. No play at all in them. I think I am good until the next oil change.

So is it safe to say with 1" spacers there's no need to change out the OEM studs to a longer application?

1" spacers come with their own studs attached to the spacer. Spacer bolts to the old studs, new studs bolt to your wheel. Check the install pics and you'll see what i mean
