Getting some molle panels designed for the unpainted wall sections just inside the door of the camper. Here's the rear panel.

    Molle Panel 1.jpg
Construction will be three layers of .5" marine plywood stacked up with a (probably) CNC routed HDPE plastic panel. The panel will be flush with the surface of the wood but there will be empty space behind it to accommodate the bag straps. I'll use spacers to keep the molle panel supported off the wood backer. It'll add a little bit of wood to the interior as well as some contrast and depth...and storage. I'm a little worried that it may make the entrance feel too cramped. May only do this rear panel and do something decorative on the other panel.

If you aren't particular about the shape of the panel, Greyman Tactical has panels you can just buy. They aren't cheap but they would get your project done NOW which has a certain benefit that can't be quantified by money: time.

I appreciate the heads up but I have a laser cutting company I work with that will make me them in any shape I want. :D

Also, I'm not in a hurry. My setup works fine and something like this would just be added refinement. ;)

Been busy with non-camper stuff. But I did some garage cleaning to start resetting after the deck project. Then I did some quick mockup work with the Redarc Manager 30 to see how I may want to mount it.

    IMG_20191006_093138.jpg
    IMG_20191006_093146.jpg
This seems easy but it doesn't leave much room for bend radius on wires coming out (green connectors) there is a connector that plugs into this that takes more room as well. So...

    IMG_20191006_093411.jpg
I could raise it up and have it overlap the transmission tunnel a bit. Seems space inefficient.

    IMG_20191006_093543.jpg
This is feeling pretty good. Gives me enough room and flexibility for wire routing and seems relatively space efficient. Pretty easy to make mounting brackets too. You know how I HATE to drill holes in the truck. I can make brackets that bolt to the fridge mount. A little triangulation in the mount brackets should be plenty of support as the manager 30 is actually pretty light.

Also, you need 4" of clearance above the unit for heat so I can't tuck it under the fridge mount. It wouldn't fit well anyway...would have to angle it a bit.

Pretty tame first step but it feels good to be starting this phase of the project.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
Haven't said anything in a while, but awesome job. The camper turned out great and looking forward to seeing how you outfit it.

As for the dual battery setup, I'm interested in your choice of products. I went with blue sea, X² Power batteries (both house and aux) and a Renolgy solar setup. I do have quite a bit powered off of the second battery so my continuous use without recharge is only about 2 days. Love the ability of the blue sea switch to be able to jump my house battery off of the aux if necessary.

Thanks! I'm interested in my choice of products too. We'll all get to see how it works out. I figure if I need to jump my main battery, I can just run jumper cables from my house battery to my main and do it the old fashioned way.

    Stay tuned!

It's not all caps. I thought it was confident without pushing over into yelling. Back in my day, yelling was the only way to communicate. I appreciate this reserved approach as I age.:D

Washed my motorcycle when I got home from work since it was sunny. Then I did a little bit of camper work..a very little bit.

    IMG_20191007_183752.jpg
I finally trimmed all the excess off of the interior fan trim ring. Easy with the table saw...set width, stand ring up on end and run it through four times. A quick deburr and it's ready for install. Next time I open up the camper, I'll install it.

    IMG_20191007_184417.jpg
I also measured what I would need to mount up the Redarc Manager 30. I have some 2.5" x 1/4" wall angle aluminum that I've been using up for years. Looks like it'll be 13" shorter tomorrow.
