So I noticed on the newer gen trucks that they have the raptor/fj style grill with the amber lights. I was curious as to what it looks like on the first gen Tacoma. I can’t find any to buy or any pictures on google for that matter, hoping someone was crazy enough to make one! Lol

I think those lights are aftermarket, not factory.

I was just using the picture as an example. I know the 3rd gen grill can’t fit and would look stupid modified to fit. I was looking to see if anyone as made that style of grill for the 1 gen.

    ah, ok, I misunderstood, lol...

I bet you could at least get the back portion, the honeycomb looking part to fit without looking too bad. Those links I posted earlier have some grills with the large "TOYOTA" emblem that have a pretty similar feel to the pic you posted.

The grill size of this Army green 2020 Tacoma compared to my 1st gen grill is massive.

1st gen grills are small and the lights personality I don’t think look all that great because our grill
are so small, just my opinion

Sweet headlights  and the grill too:cool::cool:
Completely unique hombre. Haven't seen another like it and that's hard to do in the Tacoma world. Modded and forgettable tacos are a dime a dozen. Yours doesn't look like those, yours looks tastefully modded :D and that's coming from an old timer that doesn't get caught up in all this stuff

are you specifically just wanting the raptor lights? There are a lot of kits out there that can accomplish this. Any small amber indicator x3 and a creative idea for mounting is all you need.

@LSC15 This is exactly what I want to do, but with the Toyota being a little smaller. If ya don’t mind could you possibly share your designs specs with a friend
