    do it! lol

depends how picky you are. there are some very picky people on this site, complaining about every noise or bump they feel or hear. it's a truck, not a cadillac. i personally don't really feel the difference, maybe it's a little bit of a rougher ride, i don't seem to notice though.

I currently have a hell bent steel 2.5 inch lift on the front and was planning on also going with a 1" block in the rear to level it out. Do I go with Steel or another material for the block?

    yeah, it is a lot!
so far so good for me, seems fine, i haven't read about anyone having issues with the readylifts. i'll keep an eye on them though, i think people are a little paranoid since so many people talk so bad about blocks.

i had bought some but changed my mind but because i will be taking my truck to some nasty creeky mounains in mexico and holes like that could bend or brake some blocks but not everybody goes through terrain like that. for the most part you will be alright. im selling some for 20 bucks since i never put them on

I maybe interested in the blocks. I just have to find out how much ubolts cost to intall them. I won't be doing to much hardcore offroading, so I think I maybe fine with the blocks.

i have seen them from 25-40 bucks but im sure you can get some on here for cheap. i now people also use some from hardware stores but they have o be a certain grade. theirs a whole thread on this were they are the some thing as the ones the shops sell. and much much cheaper. i will see if i can find it. but hey 20 bucks shipped can go wrong with that.

Digging up this thread.... I have 5100s at 1.75" in the front. If I get a 1" rear block to get rid of my bro lean, is it necessary to get rear 5100s also? Driving a 2015 DCSB with 7K highway miles on it.

What do you have in the front? I was thinking of possibly setting my 5100s to 2.5" then getting 1.5" rear blocks.

Looking at rear block sets that include ubolts... The readylift one is $150 versus the one at wheelers is $60. Any reason for the price differences, or why I should not go with the ones from wheelers?

any reports from the people with 1" blocks on their truck ?

I just bought a ready lift 1" kit... but now am getting worried by all the negative reports from blocks... I do light off-roading to fishing holes.

should I try to exchange for 1.5" AAL ( if possible, lol)

or is there really nothing to worry about with a 1" rear block?

There's nothing wrong with a 1" block. People just like to say they are crap because they are cheap. I had a 1.5" block before my 3" block and it rode like stock. My 3" block however, is a little bit more rough.

Yeah don't worry about it. Obviously 100% stock is the optimal design as determined by Toyota. But 1" blocks are nothing that is going to make a noticeable difference. I've been on my 1.25" rear blocks for a couple months now and can tell absolutely no difference. My truck stays on the street too except for the occasional off-road to get to the shooting range or fishing hole and it does just fine. Highly suggest getting blocks for your use.

Edit: I got mine from LowRangeOffRoad and was really happy with quality of them.
