hey all! due to the dumbass lift laws in maryland, i removed 3 inch rear blocks from my trd 1st gen and went down to 1, (which was well needed due to nosedive and them being 3 inch blocks lol) but the 1 inch blocks we swapped were bone flat not accounting for the change in pinion angle (front was 6 inch of lift and rear was taken from 8-6 from block removal) this caused tension on my rear carrier bearing which blew my rear diff. i need new 1 inch blocks that have the lower angle in the front (i believe it’s 1/4 smaller) or (2 degree angle blocks?)but can’t seem to find one with a detailed enough description/photos of the angle. please help

Try Amazon. You may have to get a 2 degree shim to add to the block if you can't find a 1" block with a 2 degree angle.

Block will look something like below.

You can also add a 2* to your leaf pack with a new center bolt and set on the flat 1” block. It will achieve the sam purpose. I personally don’t like the slip in shims as they give a little less center pin into the axle pad.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
A member here sells blocks with the angle built in, check with @mjbtaco to see what his lead time is.

hey yall thanks so much for ur input! i ended up going with shims (i did not want to do this) i spent another week looking for blocks and was so distraught i just bought the shims and welded them to the blocks to add a little more security to my anxiety of them sliding out which is practically impossible now u less i lose my blocks completely. my pinion angle is set now and rear axel is holding perfect.
