I also sent the link to a few not on TW. Hopefully they snag them up before they're gone! Great product. Satisfied customer here! Mighty tempting to get a portable unit, but I've spent my truck parts budget for the past few months on much needed leaf spring packs.

I'm sure you'll sell the remaining 6 kits in no time, Anthony!

Shout out to Anthony for my portable pressurized water system! Took this to Big Sur for camping and it helped tremendously with washing dishes, washing sand off your feet and spraying the kids lol. Appreciate the install on the rear 12v also..Can’t wait to use this next week in Utah. AAA89857-A85D-4067-A2F4-AC13E62139E9.jpg07F42FAC-9C3F-443B-BFD7-72D8958894E3.jpg

I think these are installed by drilling a hole in the water tank, then applying some kind of sealant. Then you connect to a 12v power source to heat the water. I've read somewhere it takes about 30 mins to heat up 5 gals., so you'd have to plan around your shower time. There might also be similar versions that just drop into the water tank, that avoids drilling a hole.

Definitely interested to see how you make this work without melting the plastic water container(s).

Reading some of the reviews on Amazon, it appears that's exactly how they are designed to work, and it seems to work just fine as intended without melting the container. My concern is more about the wattage draining the "house" battery. I guess you'd want to fire up the heating element while you're driving to camp to avoid draining the battery too much.

My mind is running with ideas now lol. I think trying to rig this to a plastic jerry can will probably proove difficult and youll have limited hot or warm water. I think if anyone decides to build a more permanent water storage solution like a 15 gallon tank on the truck then it would be pretty slick to make this part of the build and install a thermostat in the bed or even the cab
