    to a paintless satoshi..
    picked up a plastic welder today and played around a bit.
    I cut 3 lines in a scrap piece ,
    1st too cold and I overheated the work area
    2nd too hot, wrong tip
    3 is just about right

    I used some of the same material as a welding rod (what a PITA to cut strips) heated it up a little and it flowed right in. I grinded the excess away and hit it with the sander with 220.. neds more sanding but this was only a test. It is a solid bond and fully workable.
    I may not need filler and paint :)
