Well Lil Red hit her 10k mile mark.
I bought the truck for myself back in Dec. Traded my 2010 dclb sport for her.
Lil Red is a DCSB TRD OFF-ROAD. auto transmission, crawl control and all the fancy stuff inside. What I think is a big step up from the 10' sport.
Right from the get go I put Clazzio seat covers in her as I had an amazing experience with them previously. And to date they still look amazing! Next thing I added was Cali Raised ditch lights and they are pretty cool. As for mods that's all I've done so far. Total Chaos and Fox will be getting alot of my money in the near future. Plans are Total Chaos upper control arms and lower A arms. Front dual shock mounts. Fox 2.5 coil overs in the front and remote reservoir shocks in the front for the dual shock and in the back running the same.
The only problems I've had so far is the rear license plate light filling up with water which was replaced. The standard low tranny fluid. And had the delayed shifting from R to D. But all of that has been taken care of.
Fuel mileage I've been more then impressed! Back and forth to work I average around the 25mpg on a tank. If I go out hunting or long road trips I've seen averages around the 27-28 mpg PER TRIP.
So as of right now I'm more then happy with Lil Red. Just need the funds to mod her how I want now. But the whole adulting thing makes that a slow process for me.
Things I wish were different on the truck...
    - I wish all windows were one touch down.
    - smart door entry was on all 4 doors.
    - and that the full rear window rolled down like on the tundras.
    - maybe a hair more get up and go.

I haven't towed with it yet or really hauled anything as dont have a need for towing or hauling anything much more then my hunting gear or camping gear. So I'm unable to make a valid comment on how it does.

Nothing stated above is anything new to anyone, just my experience and thoughts after ive put 10k on my truck.

Nice update Silvertacomaguy! I'm slowly creeping up on 8k myself, and the general experience has been similar to yours.

Thank you! Overall I've really enjoyed the truck and my dealer has been great about all my concerns or needs. I feel as I made a good decision in getting a 16'. Hopefully you continue to enjoy your truck and she keeps treating you well!

STG is that a stock grill in your TRD? Looks good, and glad it's working well for you.

Yeah it's the stock grill. Just throw some plastidip on the center and kept the Toyota emblem and and outer piece chrome.
    Thank you!

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 17, was thinking about getting the pro grill, but the plasti-dip is definitely an option. How does it standup, in particular to pressure wash? I imagine you have to be pretty careful with it.

I had plastidip on my FJ grill and always pressure washed it and it held up great! I put 10 coats on my FJ grill.
On my 16' I only did 8 coats and 5 coats of clear enamel. And so far it's held up great! I've taken it though the car wash and used the pressure wash on it and it doesn't effect it at all. I wanted to buy a new grill for my truck but I figured for the $12 I spent on plastidip and the clear coat. It turned out pretty good. And beats spending $400-$600 on a new aftermarket or PRO grill.
