    Don't think there are gas stations on that one. If that's the one that goes by cruise parking lot row, past the cruise terminals, behind UTMB Galveston, then hits ferry road.

    It's always been free when I crossed, It is funded by the state. The article I read said it was cheaper to operate then construct a bridge.

    I suspect you may be wrong, since Oct is when we Gulf Coasters seem to come out from the AC'd goodness into the wilds of our version of "fresh" air.
