Man that’s super frustrating. Mine has a slight vibration under acceleration in certain power band scenarios, the floor board will buz and gas pedal. Slightly rough idle when in drive at stop lights. Nothing crazy like what you’re dealing with. Under deceleration mine is smooth as glass

Mine idles fine and I haven't noticed any vibration while accelerating. I did put mine in temp check mode today and removed the overflow plug and nothing came out. So, it is low on fluid, just don't know how much. I also double checked my drums using the parking brake and I'm 100% sure they are warped, the whole bed rattled.

So waay late on a follow-up to my saga. I had I stalled a 2"lift and the vibration that was already there got worse. Installed carrier drop and was more of a bandaid causing vibrations at other speeds. I left it for a while like this for the new leaf pack to settle.

Carrier drop spacers out and on with measurements.

Background first: Technically the phasing of the first (at transfer case) u-joint and second at the carrier 'add' because they both bend down with drive shaft angle. This leaves the u-joint at the diff to bend opposite to cancel. This is technically not perfect as the velocity ripple is not linear with angle.

After measuring, my pinion was 4 degrees pointed down too far. 4 degree shims in and things felt much improved. Not perfect tho as this arrangements still had some vibes at high speeds. Measured again and it was actually marginally high after install. 2.5 degree shims next. Basically prefect at all speeds now and braking. There is only a slight rumble at take off if mashing on the pedal, plenty livable. This was the case stock for me too.

Update on my issue, maybe it will help someone having similar problems. Dealer checked rear drums; both were warped. They resurfaced them, the truck breaks a lot smoother now, no more rearend hopping. They gave me another 23 Tacoma drive while servicing mine, it also had the rearend vibration/bounce. People that get the drums replaced and still have the vibration may be getting replacements that are also warped. I used to own a 2018 Tacoma that was bought new, and it also had warped drums. I think Toyota has a warehouse full of warped drums that they keep putting on these 3rd gens thinking most people won't complain until their warranty expires. The dealer also checked my transmission fluid level and confirmed it was low but only half a qt. Filling to proper level did not remedy the torque converter slipping and dealer could not duplicate the issue, so this is ongoing.

just a minor comment. i had this tsb done (leafs, angles, steering wheel) and it completely cured my vibration decelerating 30-10mph. i easily felt it just rolling to a stop
without any braking. the thing they put in the steering wheel is a weight to dampen vibrations. it is not a spacer of any kind. it gives the steering wheel
a more solid feel and tries to dampen any vibrations you might feel in the wheel. it is only a Band-Aid to cover any remaining vibes.
good luck with your problem...sounds like it is more complex than mine, which was solved. feeling lucky (sorta). it was a major hassle til it was fixed, i hated driving it. now, very nice.
just as an aside (sunday morning typing): the last thing i said to the service manager, before he put a serious shop guy on it (not a service rep) was "you really want to fix this because you will be getting this truck back someday". i meant as a trade-in, but he could have thought i meant it as a lemon law return. dunno, but it was very professionally handled after that conversation. i think he was a pretty good guy anyway so it might have gotten done regardless.
