I am totally pissed at the milage that my 09 gets, the best on the highway has been 18 and now that winter is here I just got 11.5 last tank full. Has 21000 miles on it, stock size Cooper ST, and I drive with the lightest right foot as I can. I traded my 1996 GMC Yukon with a 5.7 Vortec HO that got 16 around town and 20+ on the highway. I have to say that Im now in the market for another full size v-8 for the gas milage.

    Just a few
I'm getting about 10-12 mpg but i think thats due to the temp not getting above 35 in the past month and my drive to work is only about a mile.

you dont let the truck just sit and idle to keep it warm or anything do you? i've doe that a couple times when working out side. i would start my truck up on break and lunch to thaw me out and it murdered my mpg's for that tank

Just did a trip up to Vegas and with an OME lift, stock tires, Relentless front bumper, with extra holes so not as aero as stock, about 100 lbs extra skid plates, and 200 lbs in the bed. 20 mpg up and back.
Ran consistant 75 mph. Some hills and such.

My 09 prerunner would get 22 so 20 with all this and 4X4 driveline is pretty good I think.

Big heavy tires and wheels make a huge impact on these things.

Mine is completely stock with the exception of a cab high shell.

Driving normally around town with 87 octane fuel I get 13 MPG. With 91 octane and driving like a grandma in town I can push it to 16.

Drove to Colorado last summer and then through Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada and back to California. Averaged 19MPG on that trip with mostly 75-80MPH speeds and AC on. A couple tanks I topped 20MPG. Temps in the 90's to 100 degrees. 91 octane the whole trip. I was impressed with that.

Took a weekend trip over New Year's and drove 250 miles on 89 octane, mostly flat ground at 70MPH. Only got 17 on that trip. I think it's the fuel I was using. Didn't seem to make any difference between 89 and 91 in town, but going to go back to 91 for road trips now. Wondering if the out of state fuel I used for my summer trip made a big difference in MPG? I have seen 19-21 on the road before, but not at those kinds of speeds.

Others have noted a difference in power and mileage using 91 with the v6. Might try that if you havn't already.

My C load 265 Duras dropped me from 20 to 21 mpgs (with 245 HTs) down to 17 to 18.5, so I can imagine that best case scenario with Es would be 15 to 16 mpg combined.

With 10%ethanol and idleing about 15min. per morning, I'm averaging 14plus. That's on 265/70/17s though! Most of my trips are to town and back about 12miles round trip! It's in the teens and low 20's right now! Oh, 93octane!
