I am getting 10.8 mpg. 63 series CAI, TRD Cat back and a tool box with about 100 lbs in there. Sucks ass. I think something is wrong with my truck.

There in lies your problem, unless you are getting to the fire station.... You are probably flying like hell to get there... Big tires + lead foot = 10 mpg..

Absolutely no way in hell you should be getting 10 MPG by leaving your tire pressure low. I towed a heavily loaded U-haul over the rockies doing 90 mph and still got over 12 MPG in my V6. Rolled across the scales at over 9500 lbs between truck and trailer. BTW this was winter gas, roughly February when I traveled. You need to check filters, sensors, etc.

I would believe that if, IF this wasn't the case. (below)

Havent had a call in the past week filled up at half tank, 11mpg

    WTF,

Ok changed my air filter to K&N, changed my spark plugs, tomorrow airing my tires up to 40-45psi and changing oil.

My oil has maybe 4k miles on it I dont think my oil could have anything to do with it right?

No CEL, it's not loaded down with anything.....

What Octane are you running? I run 87, however on the highway drives I will fill premium, in my truck I easily get 1mpg better on premium.
Maybe try a different gas station? I've had a couple sell watery gas before. Otherwise, I honestly don't know but that is ridiculous to get that MPG. Have you reset your ECU? Unhook the battery for a few minutes to do it.

I run 93 octane. I've tried a few diff gas stations about 1mpg diff. Is there any reason to be resetting the ECU?

I was more or less talking to the op but since you have a similar scenario... from what I've learned, the ECU learns your driving habits, maybe it learned a bad one? I don't know but it wont hurt.

11-12mpg for me but with 33" MT, 6" lift, ARB front with winch, and beefed off road sliders, I don't expect much. Its miserable on the highway, 50-60 is where I get the best mpg

Ok guys sorry its been awhile,

Just went on a 60 mile trip, about 30 on the highway maybe 40 running 77mph, air psi at 44psi, other 20-30 miles backroad windy roads.

Was getting 17.8 so thinking my odometer is off a little guessing it was about 18mpg!!!!!

    YAY!!!

So now if my city driving can hit 14mpg I'll be happy!!!

I'm thinking if I was doing my usual 65mph (I was running late) I would of gotten about 19mpg

Did not reset ECU but I might try that

With stock gears, and my 35's and all the armor, I still get 15 city and about 18hwy

I just got the same size duratracs as you and after 3 fuel fill-ups since I got them, I have averaged 13.6 on the 1st tank, 15.4 on the 2nd tank, and now I would guess somewhere in the 13-14 range halfway thru my 3rd tank.

I don't know what is up with that. I used to average 19.5-ish back when my truck was new, with exactly the same driving habits as I have now.

Going from 19.5 mpg when it was new to 13.5 mpg now seems like an awfully big discrepancy. Can't believe it's just winter fuel mix and tires that are at fault. There has to be something else going on, but I've looked into all the obvious things.

Pioneer Double Din with BT, iPod, etc. Boston Acoustic components in all 4 doors with a Sony amp, powered 8" sub. Ultra gauge, Tom Tom...
I just got 16.1 with probably 150mi. of highway, 55mi. of under 45mph in a college town. I'm pretty happy with that.

I've done plugs, deleted the AC on defrost, deleted the charcoal filter and am using a K&N oiled filter. I did clean my TB and MAF.

Running 285's, mixed 4x4, probably 1.5hrs. of idle time per tank, and the 10%ethanol, I'm averaging high 13's and low 14's as per "Fuelly".

I think I'm happy with that! This weekend I will add a little over 200lbs. and some wind resistance in the form of an ARB bumper and winch.

Probably lose another mpg. I think it's well worth the trade!
