Total newbie question, but I have searched and not found a clear answer. Just bought a '10 TRD Off-road double cab. The front end vibrates around 65, a couple people have agreed it could be because PO rotated the tires just before I bought the truck. I took it "off road" for the first time tonight (fire break road above my old hometown) and on every bump I could feel a definitive "rattle" or "jolt" in the steering. It's not noticeable on the highway, or I would have questioned buying the truck (test drive did not involve off road).

What could be causing this? Worn bushings somewhere? How would I be sure/how would I diagnose it? I have never worked on suspensions before but I want to learn--if at the very least, so I understand what the local shop says when I take it into them. But if it's relatively easy to do myself, I will.

Oops... Pls disregard. As soon as I posted this, i found the threads that all link to the zip tie fix. I'll give that a whirl.

Local shop could well have soaked me for unneeded repairs!
