I'm going to be ordering some ADS 10" travel piggybacks and I am wondering if these will work with OME Dakar leafs?

Call / email the vendor you are buying from, they should be able to tell you.

He says they should but was just trying to a confirmation. He built the kit using the deaver u402 and said they would work with the expos also. But I can't decide between progressive leafs or the Dakars with the overload

Depends on what your needs are. Are you hauling? Towing? Lot of weight in the bed? Etc.

I'm just starting to build my truck up now. I only have sliders and front skid right now. But am wanting to add bumpers front/back and possibly bed rack and rtt. I want to get into expedition type truck but the wife really likes the trailer idea for camping.

I ended up going with the expos and 10" piggyback ads shocks that I got from MCM fabrication. Right now it seems very rough but it's winter up here and my oil is always cold. The 10" will work either the expos or dakars. So far I love the set up and some how convinced the wife to let me buy a HC bumper front bumper bed rack and Rtt during Christmas. So by the end of summer I will have a good feel for the truck. I can say the expos handle weight very good. I have about 350 lbs in the back for weight during the winter and leafs barely move. Even when myself and a friend get in the bed it only squats down about another 1" and that's over 750lbs in the bed.

Now when I say stiff please understand I know it's not going to be like a Cadillac. There average winter temp up is -15C. I only have maybe 2500 miles on my setup so I know the leafs aren't even broke in yet. But i have taken these shocks over speed bumps doing 50 and they absorb them just find even in cold weather. I am just running factory valving in the shocks and I don't know the oil weight. I do have the valving chart so just pm me if you would like them.
