    An interesting thing about our wonderfull city. The reported temp is taken 6 feet off the ground in the shade. SO, when the 'ol news Dude says "...its 111* today at Sky Harbor...." THATS 6 F'ING FEET OFF THE GROUND IN THE SHADE!

    I have regularly taken temps over 120* out side. Last Summer, My thermometer broke...........10 min. after I bought it....when I placed it in the back of my truck, under the tool box, in the shade, as I knew it would get over 140* inside the truck.
