In 2009, I forget how I was 'chosen' to try out the Pop-N-Lock Tailgate lock but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

Today I was swapping my tailgate for a less banged up one and when I took off the cover to the tailgate I thought about how great this product has been. - My only complaint when I installed it was a twang that it would make when I closed the tailgate. IIRC I put a small piece of high density foam and it went away.

Other than all the dust that I collected - my truck has been off-roaded extensively in the Western US (SoCal to Montana, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico,) and Baja Mexico for play and for chasing in SCORE off-road races. My truck has suffered many challenges like cracks all over (my radiator support looks like Frankenstein with all the cracks that have been welded, a front LCA that unwrapped itself (there's a pic on here somewhere) and a rear passenger wheel that broke off (tire store did not torque any of my wheels about 3 days before). The bottom line is that if this thing was going to fail, I think it would have failed for me. It didn't and I bet it will last a couple more 100k romps.

The only thing that 'broke' was the dust cover - I'm not worried about it since it really didn't seem to protect anything that I could see.
