power outlet burned out ,manual says cigarette lighter /power outlet is 100 amp ,#34 fuse slot in engine compartment, girl at napa told me to pull it straight out which broke it apart, then on another page it is a 15amp in the cockpit fuse box, that was burned out ,replaced, back in action, everything else works,
called toyota ,they could not give a definitive answer on the 100 amp fuse in #34 which really kind of pissed me off.
#1 question is , what does the 100 amp (according to my manual ) in hole #34 actually do and is bad to just leave it empty?
#2 question, if it is important , how do you replace it?
it seems like what the book says it controls is working anyway when i replaced the 15 amp fuse.
    TIA

It has nothing to do with the cigarette lighter. The power outlet they are referring to is the one in the bed for 115 VAC.

The 100 ampere fuse under the hood is for the 115 A/C socket (power inverter) plug in in the bed of the truck.

The girl at NAPA is an idiot as it is bolted into the fuse box. You cannot just pull it out.

Your truck will be fine without this fuse, but the Power Inverter will not work until it is replaced.

I just went through this and there are 2 fuses and a relay for the ACC 12v outlets

1 blue mini fuse by your left knee in fuse box upper right
1 fuse for the relay in engine compartment but doubt you burned it with out affecting something else
the relay comes out in 10 minutes but you need to take out two 10 mm bolts, foot rest, trim near rest and your floor trim to remove the fuse panel as the relay is behind it on left

He said he had the power point outlets fixed by replacing the fuse in the cab.

His question is about the power inverter fuse link under the hood.

roger that, how do you replace it and can i just use the napa fuse,it definitely looks different as the napa is just copper and the stock looked like solder, it makes sense that it controls the inverter but why they said #34 controlled the lighter/power outlets and the 15 amp controls just power outlet is beyond me, manual should have been clearer
    TIA

I'm not sure I'll look and see what I can find something on it.

I am still a bit confused as fuse # 34 is for the ABS / Stability Control System in my owners manual. # 35 is for the AC SKT 100 A Power outlet. I think you misinterpreted the power outlet to mean cigarette lighter. This is in fact the inverter outlet 115 volts AC.

I looked at mine and it seems that the fuse box will need to be removed and some disassembly required to get at the bolts that attach this fuse. Search the forums for the alternator fuse replacement as it is in the same module as the AC Socket Fuse, disassembly would be the same. I have heard that it isn't easy.
